Media in Performance: Real-Time Interactive With Isadora

Today, I start using Isadora to create an artefact for media in performance.

This is the Main Menu were the user using keyboard and sound to play each movie as well as using sound to activate visual effects. When activating any of the scenes, a background music will continuously playing until the user deactivate the scene. (Figure 1)

The second scene is the Dots Effect movie were user using sound to interact with the dots such as increase or decrease its size and when sound is detected, it also brighten up movie clip during playback. (Figure 2)

The third scene is the Motion Blur Effect movie were user using sound to interact with the movement of the movie such as blur out movements when sound is detected, it also brighten up movie clip during playback. (Figure 3)

The fourth scene is the Difference Effect or ghost effect movie were user using sound to interact with the movie such as movements will turn bright and other will turn dark when sound is detected, it also brighten up movie clip during playback. (Figure 4)

The fifth scene is the Desaturate Effect movie were user using sound to interact with the movie such as colour will be changed into black and white. However, when sound is detected it will change back to colour and if the user contentiously clapping their hands then the movie will be played in colour, it also brighten up movie clip during playback. (Figure 5)

The sixth scene is the Displace Effect movie were user using sound to interact with the movie such as the moving pixels will turn become pixelated when sound is detected, it also brighten up movie clip during playback. (Figure 6)

The last scene is the Background Music movie were it continues playing until user deactivate the scene. (Figure 7)

All in all, this is a fun and interactive project to engage with, would love to perform more similar projects in the future.
