Modelling: Reflection

After spending the past two weeks or so in using 3D environment software such as the Autodesk Maya, 3ds Max and ZBrush, to practice how to use such a sophisticated application. Eventually, after trying all three applications in the first week, I have decided to use Autodesk 3ds Max for modelling because the interface is very similar compared with SketchUp as I have used it to produce a 3D model in one of the mini projects back in ‘Practice 1 – Media’.

Through the week, I have quickly picked up some of the essential techniques such as manipulate with shapes and sizes, offset, wireframe and textures after followed a few online tutorials on Lynda and YouTube.
